The Shriners Hospitals for Children Open has been a Las Vegas tradition since 1983, and for some volunteers it has been their tradition for over two decades. The newly installed Volunteer Hall of Fame recognizes the extraordinary passion and commitment made to supporting the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open through 20 years of volunteerism. The inaugural Hall of Fame class inducted in 2013 acknowledged 10 volunteers who have dedicated their time, energy and talents to the tournament for at least 20 years. Four more members were inducted in 2014, and 5 members in 2015, bringing the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open Hall of Fame membership to it's current number of 19 members.
Each year, those reaching 20 years of volunteerism will be inducted into the Hall of Fame and will have their name engraved onto the Hall of Fame plaque that is proudly displayed at the front entrance to the tournament for all to see.
The Shriners Hospitals for Children Open extends our sincerest appreciation and gratitude to our Hall of Fame volunteers for their tireless devotion and leadership that has contributed to the overall success of the event.
